The snake skin pattern on this fabric is very realistic! Visually anyway, the dark browns to almost bronze, a very natural pattern and shine in the light. Depending on the fabrics angle to the light you can sometimes pick up a slight green tinge through the scales. The colours match the colours and shades seen on a real snake.
It doesn’t feel like snake skin though, the pattern print makes it feel very smooth, over all like an extremely thin vinyl.
The material is thin and light, able to be easily wrapped around bends if you were thinking about sculpting a garment or object with it.
This jersey is quite thin and is see through in between each scale.

A light spring/summer dress or top would be stunning! You could also use if for inserts in a jacket or dress. Because it is so light, you may need to underline it to match the weight of the other fabric in the garment if you are using it this way.
It could be used for parts of a cosplay hunter outfit.

This fabric is 120cm wide. There is approximately a 3cm wide salvage before the pattern starts on each side.
This fabric is sold per meter (40 inches) and will be cut to the amount of meters purchased.
We currently have 2 meters in stock, and sell by meters rather than yards (1 meter = 40 inches).
It is a good idea to hand wash this fabric, if you are going to machine wash it be careful and turn it inside out to protect the pattern.
